Illuminate
An 8-Week Microdosing Programme for Embodiment and Creativity
Neuroscience . Somatics . Integration
Research shows that psilocybin enhances both divergent and convergent thinking, the two cognitive modes that underpin creative work. Most substances that enhance divergent thinking suppress convergent thinking. The research on psilocybin suggests it does something unique, it increases both. This means that microdosing window is an optimal time to practice new skills and creativity.
“You must try working with Kavita. I haven’t stopped telling people about how much it’s changed my way of working. It’s been super profound the difference it's made.”

Creativity
This isn't about learning how to be more creative, life itself is the most beautiful creative act and your body is the instrument through which that creativity moves. When we are cut off from sensation, we are cut off from our creative source. This time together will guide you back towards your embodiment.
-

Classical Tantra
Classical Tantra is an ancient philosophical tradition rooted in Kashmir Shaivism that treats the body, sensation and pleasure as pathways to presence, embodiment and self-knowledge. This isn’t about sex.
-

Convergent Thinking
This is the ability to evaluate, refine, and bring ideas into form. Research suggests psilocybin also enhances this, meaning the creative window isn't just generative, it also sharpens our discernment, and we can all do with that!
-

Divergent Thinking
This is the ability to generate many ideas, make unexpected connections, and think freely without constraint. Psilocybin quiets the default mode network and opens this up.

Replays of the sessions will be available if you can’t make some of the calls.
-
Mapping the landscape
We begin with inquiry tracing in the body, where do you feel numb and where are you alive. The neuroscience of the default mode network is introduced, why the brain's inner critic is so loud, and how microdosing begins to soften it.
You will be provided with a menstrual cycle and microdosing tracker with the option of also tracking ADHD symptoms if this applies to you.
Classical tantra is introduced as the philosophical home of the embodiment thread, what it actually is, and what it isn't (hint: it’s not about sex)
-
Divergent thinking — the open mindOn the creativity thread, we go deep into divergent thinking, what it is, what blocks it, and how psilocybin creates the neurological conditions for it to flow.
On the embodiment thread, we begin working with the tantric concept of spanda, the creative pulse that moves through all living things as a somatic practice.
-
Convergent thinking, bringing it into form
The second cognitive mode is convergent thinking, refinement, and discernment. How psilocybin enhances both modes, and why that matters for creativity in a way that most people don't expect. On the embodiment thread, we work with pleasure as intelligence, a core tenet of tantric philosophy.
-
Midpoint - what's opening
A week to pause and take stock of both threads. Group sharing, written reflection, and inquiry into what's shifting. Practices are adjusted based on what has emerged. This week's focus is integration — letting what's been loosened land rather than rushing to the next thing.
Integration: Midpoint reflection.
-
The body as creative source
This week the two threads meet. Tantric philosophy has always understood the body as the origin of creative energy, not a vehicle for the mind, but the source itself. We explore how embodiment and creative output are the same energy moving in different directions, and what it means to create from that place.
-
Sensuality and the creative life
A dedicated week for sensuality. The relationship between a full sensory life and creative output is explored through both neuroscience and tantric philosophy. We will delve into a deep breathwork practice this week.
-
Permission and continuity
What stands between most people and full creative and sensual aliveness is permission to take up space, to feel deeply, to make things that matter to them. We work with where that permission has been withheld and what it takes to grant it to yourself. Designing an ongoing practice that holds both threads beyond the programme.
-
Closing ceremony & integration
Sharing what has opened, what surprised you, and what you're carrying forward. A creative expression element, whatever form feels true. Letters to self.
